The magnificent medina, Containing the Ribat and the Great Mosque, as well as a fascinating museum, brings to life the history of the town and its long standing importance. Port El Kantaoui lies just north of Sousse, and is a purpose built resort, created in the late 70′s, with, at its heart, a lovely Andalusian style marina, popular with mediterranean yachting enthusiasts. Around the marina are shops, restaurants, bars, a diving centre and nearby the hannibal park, a magnet for children.
